Workshop: Measuring Success

As UXers we’ve become pretty good at testing our work and celebrating when a piece of our design performs well. But we can often miss the wider impact that our input can have. In this workshop we’ll consider success beyond usability and into the areas where it can impact people’s jobs and lives. I’ll demonstrate a simple framework for collecting and measuring the true value of the work we do, helping you to demonstrate your successes and advocate for a user-centered approach in all you do.

Kathryn is a UX Researcher at Cardiff University, focusing on data, behavioural analysis, and short meetings. She has worked in a variety of software houses and marketing agencies and is currently embroiled in the Google Analytics upgrade.
